LIBERTY B. ABUEG, a 45-year-old married woman from Cavite. She has 3 children ages 22, 20, and 18. She has 4 brothers and 6 sisters and among them she is the 5th child. Both of her parents already passed away. She attended her college in San SebastianCollege and took up Secretarial course, but was not able to pursue her studies due to financial difficulties that her family had encountered. She was selected to work in Singapore as a housemaid from 1999-2005. Then from 2005-2006, she worked also as a housemaid in Jeddah from 2005-2006. She came back in Singapore and worked as a housemaid again and currently serving a Singaporean family since 2006.

1) An applicant who claims to be hardworking and trustworthy especially at work. As an experienced housemaid, she is proficient in doing basic household chores like cleaning, washing clothes, dish washing, and ironing. She can also do basic gardening, car washing and can be trusted in doing marketing. She is also capable of doing infant care and its duties like bathing, sterilizing utensils, changing of diaper, preparing food and feeding, and knows how to check temperature. She can also look after young children and attend to their needs. She was enhanced on these duties as she has children of her own and has years of experience on it. She has skills in cooking, basically on Filipino, Chinese, Western, and Arab dishes. She is also capable to care for pets as she had experience caring for a dog during her employment in Singapore.

2) Singapore (Feb 1999-Oct 2004 / Aug 2006-Dec 2008 / Jan 2009-present) Initially served a Singaporean family living in a terrace house with 3 children ages 13, 6, & 2. She was an all around maid responsible for doing housework including basic gardening, car washing of 2 cars twice a week, infant & child care, and caring for a dog. Cooking was not included in her main duties as the auntie was the one who cooks for the family, but she always helps during preparation of ingredients and cleaning and somehow she was able to learn how to cook simple Chinese food. She was able to finish her 2-year contract and was renewed for another 4 years. In 2006, she came back to Singapore and worked again as a housemaid. She served another Singaporean family living in a condominium with 3 children ages 16, 10, and 7. Her duties were housework, cooking, child care, and marketing. Currently, she is serving a Singaporean family living in an HDB flat with 1 child aged 4. Her duties are housework, car washing every week, preparing and serving Chinese, Western, and even Filipino food for the family. She is also the one taking care of the child since the child was still 1 year old. Whenever the father of her employer is around, she also assists him with his needs like preparing food and with the needs as the father got stroke and is in need of help most of the time.

3) Jeddah (2005 - 2006) Served an Arab family living in a bungalow house with 4 children ages 16, 12, 8, and 7. There were 2 housemaids serving in the family including her. Her duties were housework, cooking Arab food, and child care. After a year of serving the family, her employer encountered financial difficulties and decided not to hire a housemaid anymore.

4) Application for country outside Singapore : Canada , UK , Norway , Spain , Denmark , Australia …. and others. She is available anytime. This applicant can work not only as nanny or maids, but they can also work in a factory or other forms of employment as long as they get bigger compensation than they are currently receiving ranging from Singapore S$400.00 -  S$650.00 per month. Most of them are College Graduate / Level with specialize training and with good command of English. Interested employers / Employment Agency to process the working visa on the destination country.
